Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships
The Swiss government offers 3 scholarships to Korean students on the basis of reciprocity. The calls for 2021-2022 are OPEN. Application deadline is November 10, 2020.

CYD Fellowships – A Talent Program for Cyber-Defence Research
Jointly launched by EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, and the Swiss Cyber-Defence (CYD) Campus, this program offers funding for 6-month Master theses, 4-year PhDs, and (up to) 3-year postdocs to talented researchers of all nationalities who are willing to engage with cross-cutting issues in cyber-defence under the supervision of a professor at a Swiss higher education institution and a CYD Campus researcher.
It places particular emphasis on:
• novel technologies for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cyber and cyber-physical systems
• privacy-enhancing technologies
• data science and artificial intelligence methods for analysing cyber- and technology-relevant data
• research on vulnerabilities and backdoors in digital systems.
CYD fellows will be hosted by a higher education institution in Switzerland and conduct their research at the CYD Campus – a cyber-competence center acting as an anticipation platform. The CYD Fellowships are supported by armasuisse Science and Technology.

ETH Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP): special scholarship for the duration of the programme, specific assistance, covers study and living costs during Master.
Master Scholarship Programme (MSP): partial stipend during the Master, offer of an assistantship.
EPFL Excellence Fellowships: on Master level for students with outstanding academic records, financial package of up to CHF 16’000 per academic year.
EPFL’s international postdoctoral fellowship program for researchers (holder of a PhD) of any nationality
Excellence Master Fellowships: grant of up to CHF 15’000 per year for duration of Master.

Master of Advanced Studies in European and International Governance Scholarships available
UNIL Masters Grant: 10 Scholarships for international students, grant of CHF 1’600 per month.
Master grant: for 6 international students per year, grant of CHF 1600 per month
