Designathon on Tour took place on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28 at Heyground as part of Zurich Meets Seoul Festival. About 50 students, entrepreneurs, starts-ups and more joined the ideation workshop with strong focus on sustainable co-living and skills for the future. 12 teams were spontaneously grouped up based on their interests and all the teams worked hard to complete their projects and be ready for pitching which was held on Saturday in the afternoon.
The participants also had a chance to participate in four workshops organized by the Designathon Team from Zurich, covering “How to find ideas”, “How to pitch”, etc.
2 minutes were given to each team to present their innovative ideas in the field of sustainable co-living and learning in front of the jury of experts and audience from Korea and Zurich during the Global Impact Night.
Organizers and public were impressed by the presentations: slides, videos and sketches expressed original ideas in a clear and professional way!
The winners of the three prizes respectively won Best in Future Scenario – mentoring by Olivier Mouroux from Asiance, Best in Social Impact – direct track to The Citypreneurs Team pitching event, and Best in Designathon – 2 months, 1 desk at WeWork Labs and support for the implementation from our S&T office.
Congratulations to the winners of Designathon! And thanks to all participants for joining.
